Controlled Pore Glass (CPG)

FIDELITY OLIGOS LLC offers a range of CPG supports for the synthesis of 3′-labeled oligonucleotides. The controlled pore glass support is pre-modified with a specific label which serves as a starting point for the growth of the oligo chain. Subsequent deblocking and cleavage from the support gives 3’-modified oligonucletide.
All our products are available in 500 Å or 1000 Å pore size format. Please, contact us about the other pore sizes or labels (dyes, quenchers or anchor groups), LCAA spacers or desired loading of the CPG. Polystyrene supports are available on request.
CPG with fluorescent labels
CPG with fluorescent labels are designed as tools for the introduction of a fluorescent label into 3′-position of oligonucleotides. All protective groups on the dye labels are removed during the deblocking step.

CPG with dye quenchers
CPG with dye quenchers are typically used for the synthesis of oligonucleotide probes which bear a fluorescent label at 5′-position and a dye quencher at 3′-position. Presently we offer the CPG supports with BHQ-1, BHQ-2, BBQ-650, Dabcyl and Iowa quenchers, which can be effectively paired with the most popular fluorescent dyes.
