Reagents for Bioconjugation

Jump to:

FIDELITY OLIGOS LLC offers various reactive compounds for labeling, cross-linking and immobilization of biomolecules. These include activated esters (for amine labeling), azides and alkynes (for copper or metal-free click labeling), maleimides (for thiol labeling) as well as auxiliary reagents (buffers, catalysts or ligands) for bioconjugation.

As long as there are many possible combinations of specific fluorescent dyes or labels with reactive functional groups, we provide custom synthesis of the reagents. Please contact us for further information.

Activated esters

N-Hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) esters are widely used to label proteins, peptides or oligonucleotides bearing a reactive amine group. NHS esters are capable reacting with amines without carbodiimide activation.

Crosslinkers

In the context of bioconjugation and biomolecule modification, crosslinkers are often used to link biomolecules together, such as proteins or nucleic acids, or to attach biomolecules to surfaces or other materials. Heterobifunctional reagents allow obtaining bioconjugates of a target structure in good yields.

Mass-tag reagents

Mass tag reagents, also known as mass spectrometry tags or mass spectrometry labels, are small molecules that are chemically attached to biomolecules to introduce a unique mass signature. These tags are used in mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics studies to label and track specific biomolecules, such as proteins, peptides, or metabolites, and facilitate their detection and quantification.

Graphene oxide

Graphene oxide (GO) is one of the most promising nanomaterials for various practical applications. In particular, it has great potential for the production of unique bioconjugates. We now offer GO in a form of stable colloidal solution in distilled water (may form easily dispersible precipitate over long storage) [1]. Sheet size is 30-500 nm (by Malvern Zetasizer Nano ZSP).
