We can make 5′-thiol oligos having tethers of different lengths. These oligos can be covalently attached to gold particles or film. They may also be attached via a heterobifunctional crosslinker, such as p-maleimidophenyl isocyanate, to a solid surface. A sampling of 5′-thiol oligos is seen below. The length of the tethers may be custom designed for your particular requirements.
